An esteemed bassist, singer and songwriter, Means began her musical journey in a family band on the high plains of Wyoming. Her talent and drive led her to Nashville, where she garnered a GRAMMY nomination with distaff bluegrass powerhouse, Della Mae. Means has served as a musical ambassador in over 30 countries. She performs with original projects Sally & George and Lovers Leap, and on bass with some of Americana, bluegrass, and folk’s brightest artists. When she’s not on stage or in the studio, you will find her teaching yoga, tending to her plants, baking cakes for special occasions, and hiking, stand up paddleboarding, or van life adventuring with her husband.
